Arlington Middle School

STEM
At IPS, our STEM schools emphasize a hands-on, problem-based learning approach focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students will have the opportunity to practice critical thinking, problem-solving, discourse, real-world connection, and goal-oriented actions.
Students will engage in Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses including: Medical Detectives, Automation and Robotics, and Green Architecture. There will also be an opportunity to work with a computer science educator to hone their engineering skills through the application of theory and design principles.

Arlington Middle School is more than just a school. It’s a hub of innovation and creativity, a place where students learn to become academic, social, and cultural influencers. Our mission is to impact the social, emotional, and academic development of our students through a school-wide culture of empowered learning.
Our commitment to excellence and innovation extends beyond academics. We are excited to announce our plans to completely reinvent the Arlington facility. From a new classroom wing to enhanced athletic fields, we aim to create a dynamic, engaging environment that supports all aspects of our students’ education.
